Feb 04, 2026
In honor of World Cancer Day, Physician Affiliate Group of New York, P.C. (PAGNY) is proud to spotlight Jordonna Brown, M.D., M.P.H. — a dedicated oncologist and educator whose work reflects the heart of purpose-driven care.
Dr. Brown, a PAGNY provider serves as an Attending Physician in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, where she practices general oncology and benign hematology, with a particular focus on breast cancer. She also plays a vital role in mentoring and educating medical students, residents, and fellows, helping shape the future of oncology through clinical guidance and research.
This blend of science and service is central to Dr. Brown’s approach. Her work is rooted not only in clinical precision, but also in deep respect for the resilience of her patients and the power of accessible, equitable care.
“I am inspired by the extraordinary resilience of the patients I serve and honored to assist their navigation of what is often a life-changing cancer diagnosis.”
As part of her advocacy for better understanding, Dr. Brown highlights an important point about cancer care that is often misunderstood:
“Cancer care is not automatically synonymous with chemotherapy. Some cancer patients don’t need chemotherapy at all.”
Her message reflects PAGNY’s broader commitment to education, prevention, and personalized care that respects each patient’s unique journey.
PAGNY is proud to highlight providers like Dr. Brown, who bring clinical excellence and compassion to New York City’s most underserved communities. If you're a provider who shares that purpose, we invite you to consider joining our team.
